O.P.I Axxium Gel Nail Extensions

I have just converted to the OPI Axxium Gel system! The extensions are natural looking plus promise minimal lifting! I'm now offering Gel nail extensions for £25! OPI is a well known and trusted brands, and users of the product must be trained to use them, so clients are guaranteed a personal and professional treatment! Nail Art is of course available for lots of sparkle! :D

As its sooooo close to Christmas now, I thought I'd blog on something festive! This is a product guarenteed to make you feel all sparkly in the season of good cheer!

Nail paint by Barry M have brought out some fabulous glitter nail lacquer! and I was drawn to the red one after seeing my cousins girlfriend fashioning it! The RRP is £2 95 which is an absolute bargain!!

The varnish needs 2 if not 3 coats, and dont be worried on the first coat if it looks a bit cheap and tacky- it will look better as you apply a second coat! However, be warned when taking off!!!!! You need to be very patient and ready with your cleaning tools should you get any product on sofas/tables/worktops etc! (especially if you have a mother like mine!)

My advice would be to press hard on the nail for 10 seconds with a damp cotton pad (an acetone based varnish remover will work best but beware if you have false nails!), keep applying pressure and work into the varnish (think like you are using a rubber) and sweep upwards and away. Do not rub, rub, rub as this will just get glitter EVERYWHERE!!

Johnsons Body Oil Gel

This is the new balm from Johnson's!!

I love the Johnson's range, we all love that token 'baby smell' it gives! This product is applied after washing (preferably with a Johnson's product :D). The gel formula is thicker than the oil, so is more suitable for oil phobics!!! (you know who you are)

However, I found the texture to be soooo thick, it was difficult to massage into the skin- perhaps my skin is not dry enough? Has anyone else tried this product? What are your comments?

Body Brushing

Do you body brush?

This is an AMAZING technique that you can do at home, and doesn't break the bank balance!

You can purchase a body brush from any pharmacy or highstreet chemist. The effects of body brushing is stimulation of the circulatory system following into the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is the bodies removal of toxins that deposit in the body systems. Stimulating the system therefore speeds up this removal, and the improved circulation gives the skin a healthy glow! The skin also benefits from gentle exfoliation.

Begin by brushing upwards, starting with the legs. Brush in the direction of the heart and circulation. The routine should go as follows;

Legs, Arms, Stomach (go in the direction of digestion), Back (brush towards the spine to comfort Central Nervous System). Do not body brush the chest and decollete as this is fragile skin, which is over sensitised by external environment.

Follow the routine with a warm bath or shower, followed by your favourite body moisturiser. Bliss!!

It came to me to start a blog about my passion- Beauty. This blog is for followers of beauty, make up and other beauty trends!

With this blog I want to review lots of different products, fashions and am on hand to answer any beauty questions!

I've been a beauty therapist now for a year, I started with nail enhancements and my love has just grown from there! I want everyone to become knowledgeable about products and appreciate the wonderful world of beauty!!
